Normally I try not to overhype books for myself, because I don’t want them to disappoint my expectations. However, there are a few books coming out this year that I just know are going to be awesome, and will probably be topping my 2015 favorites list.
#1 – All Fall Down (Embassy Row #1) by Ally Carter
So far I have liked every Ally Carter book I’ve read, and each series she has written has been better than the last. Though I seriously doubt she can top the Heist Society series, which is absolutely AMAZING, I have very high hopes for this book. I have previously written a Waiting on Wednesday post for this book, and it comes out in a week. I’m so excited.
#2 – The Lost Prince (Seaborne #1) by Matt Myklusch
If I don’t love this book the world will probably collapse. It’s just not possible. Mostly because this is the first in the next series of books by Matt Myklusch, who wrote one of my favorite series EVER, the Jack Blank Adventures. I’m so excited for this book. (Even though I’m still secretly hoping they’re will be a sequel series to Jack Blank)
#3 – The Darkest Part of The Forest by Holly Black
Last year I read The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black, and while it didn’t make my Top Books of 2014, I thought it was really interesting and really good, even though vampires aren’t really my thing. But this book looks really great and it has a cover is absolutely gorgeous. Plus, it’s out today. I think I’m really gonna like this one.
#4 – Six of Crows (The Dregs #1) by Leigh Bardugo
The third book in the Grisha trilogy, Ruin and Rising WAS in my Top Books of 2014 last year, so I’m super excited for another series by Leigh Bardugo, and even better, it’s in the same universe as Ruin and Rising and is about criminals, which is my very favorite plot type, so I know I’m going to love it.
